The Fluidinfo Team
Terry Jones
CEO
Terry lives in New York and Barcelona. He hates computers but loves programming; FluidDB is a natural consequence of these conflicting passions. He has 3 great kids who, after years of patience, are asking if they're "too small" to use FluidDB, and who also wonder if this is all going to work out. He owns 4 unicycles, was once a circus ringmaster, and likes books. He blogs occasionally, can easily be reached on Twitter @terrycojones, and has a home page here.
Terry was previously a postdoc in Zoology at the University of Cambridge (2004-07) where he spent time helping the WHO design part of the human influenza vaccine. He was also a part-time professor in CS at the Universitat de Pompeu Fabra (2005-06), CTO of Eatoni Ergonomics in New York (2000-04), a postdoc in Cognitive Science at UCSD (1998-99), CEO of Teclata in Barcelona (1996-98), and a postdoc and graduate fellow at the Santa Fe Institute (1992-96). He has a Ph.D. in CS from the University of New Mexico, an M.Math from the University of Waterloo, and a B.Sc. in CS from Sydney University.

A fan of Free and Open Source software, he is the original author of txAMQP, he's an Apache and Thrift committer, has spoken at several conferences, such as PyCon US and EuroPython, regularly contributes to Twisted and likes participating randomly in many other projects.
He used to play the violin, the bass guitar and the piano (not at the same time!), but nowadays his only keyboard is soldered to a Thinkpad. Dreams of owning a Volkswagen minibus (T1, if possible), but meanwhile he resigns himself to play with his small collection of minibus miniatures.

He regularly contributes to Storm and Commandant, but is also doing quite a bit of work with cloud related technologies like EC2.
Jamu loves music of all kinds and has been playing the drum set for many years. He has played and performed with a number of bands.
